The manufacturing of BACKYARD RINKS LTD. was started as a result of the tremendous response to a service that was provided in the winter of 1993. This service involved installing and maintaining ice rinks mainly in Barrie, Ontario and its surrounding areas. The result was a creation of a little "HOCKEY NIGHT IN BARRIE". This service was provided by Damian Agostini, founder and president of BACKYARD RINKS LTD. His motive was based on the fact that today's parents were too busy and tired after working all day to find that quality time to spend with their children. In a time of greater concern over the safety of our children, BACKYARD RINKS LTD. provides the consumer with an opportunity to enjoy all the fun and sport of a backyard rink in the safety of one's own backyard.
